We live, work, and raise families in buildings, but all too often
our buildings dont work for us. Our buildings unfairly price hard-working families out of
their homes. They pollute our environment, waste our energy,
and squander our money. Poorly planned new construction
overwhelms our schools and roads.
Now - more than ever - we need to change the way our city
views its buildings. As our city continues to grow, we need to
make sure that our buildings truly represent our values.
At Better Buildings NY, we believe in affordable housing which supports the rights of hard working, middle-class men and
women to live and raise a family in their home community. We believe in green buildings which
reduce the environmental impact of our homes and reduce energy bills. We believe in responsible development which
strengthens our infrastructure and preserves the
look, feel, and character of our community.
